Two years of one to one tutoring experience, in which I have offered in person and online lessons, helping over 10 students achieve their full potential, by instilling confidence in them, teaching the necessary components of their exams efficiently, giving them the means to learn effectively.

I am well suited to the role of an English tutor due to my professionalism, my attitude and motivation as well as my qualifications. English Literature has given me transferable skills in identifying how texts are influenced by external contexts. I have worked collaboratively in presentations, class discussion and debates, making me an actively engaged, self-assured and easily adaptable individual. English Language and Literature have simultaneously strengthened my reading stamina, and my ability to read a broad variety of texts, make immediate inferences and learn any wider content that the student may need.

I value learning, and working as an English tutor has made me a supportive, patient and dedicated communicator to my students. Having a part-time job has made me reliable, and has allowed me to demonstrate my ability to balance school, work and home life.
