1st Year Undergraduate
When I was 11 I set up a small online international business, buying goods from overseas and distributing across the UK, a lot of time and determination led the business to be both successful and profitable.
During my time at 6th Form I was employed at Supasplit Limited. My duties include general factory maintenance, manufacturing of products, general clerical work. I have been given the opportunity to design some features of the company website and introduce processing improvements, saving time and cost as a result.
During the period between finishing 6th Form and starting university I worked at the Yorkshire bank head office as part of the financial care team. Involvements include, speaking to customers one to one and helping them through hard times.
I as a mathematical enthusiast I enjoy finding solutions, I relish in the presence of a challenging problem, I feel that my skills are very transferable to the workplace. Mathematics has opened my mind up to an abundance of ways of thinking, I look into the problem, think about why that problem is occurring, and do not stop until I find out how to solve it.
I take pride in my punctuality, achieving 100% attendance throughout all of my time at high school. I am friendly and straight talking and able to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels. I would be able to use this skill to listen and understand situations in order to ensure that the right outcome for all concerned can be achieved.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS
My hobbies include; Running, going to the gym, cycling, reading, socialising, mathematics, producing music and outdoor activities.
