My method is to teach them different ways they can look at a problem, get them to do some questions with my help, then let them do some on their own until they understand how to tackle that sort of question. Then I would move on to another topic.
I have already received an A* in my A-Level Maths and received an A* in my GCSE Maths. I have helped other people in lower years in my school by tutoring them as well so I have some experience in the subjects that come up.
