My name is Anjani and I am offering maths and chemistry lessons up to GCSE level. I tailor my lessons to the student and the board they are taking. My classes usually start off with students providing a summary of what they learnt in the last lesson with me. I would then start teaching them the next topic, and would end with some practice questions.
I am an A level student, interested in tutoring students maths and chemistry (for which I achieved a grade 9 for both subjects at GCSE). I have had experience tutoring and providing guidance to pupils in years 7 and 8, who find it difficult to concentrate at home.
I am an extremely hardworking, motivated, ambitious, punctual and organized year 11 student who works well both individually and as a team. I am a proud holder of a maximum academic scholarship which is only offered to two people in the year group, and I also received a music scholarship.

Musical Instruments: I play four instruments, which include trombone, piano, flute and violin (Carnatic), and have been playing them for 8 years. Music is a great interest of mine and has taught me the importance of focus, dedication and discipline. Alongside that, I play trombone in a Swing Band and an orchestra at my school. Being in these musical groups has helped me understand the significance of time-management, team-work and commitment.

Cooking: I enjoy cooking a lot and when we go on holiday with my extended family, I cook and prepare three course meals for 20 people, with my cousins. Cooking has taught me how to improvise with missing ingredients, the same way that I can work with minimal resources and still produce outstanding results.
Art: I have been drawing since I was 7 and I have been drawing cards for weddings, birthdays and celebrations since the age of 13. My sister and I started an Instagram card business (concealed information) in September 2019. This provides me with the opportunity to exercise my creative flair and employ my own imagination.
