I will first speak to my student on how they think learn, (if they dont know we can find out!) best wether that be through videos and visual representation or kinetically through me talking to them. I start my classes on recapping what we did last lesson to consolidate understanding with some questions. I will then teach new content or recap a topic the student is struggling with, we will then go through worked examples together. When the student and I feel they have sufficient understanding of the content and markscheme they will complete a question for me and I will check it is correct, if not we do another worked example or if content is the issue we will recap again slower. If question right, a few more then. Then repeat.
I am an A level student at a prestigious Sixth Form, I have worked at a tutoring company previously teaching GCSE standard, however we had to unfortunately close due to Corona and it’s current aftermath. I love to teach and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing my students finally understand a topic. I also do one on one Maths GCSE tutoring for year 11’s at my school, although I am not offering this I have plenty of experience in tutoring.
