I find it to be very beneficial to start off my lesson with a general introduction of the topic. I outline the key words and definitions as that is what mark schemes strongly target. At the end of every topic, I provide exam style questions as well as ideal answers. I also offer organisation skills.
I am currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Geography. I've had experience with teaching younger children who have taken/currently taking their GCSEs. My tutoring classes have been successful as I offer a plethora of revision resources as well as directing them properly in answering exam questions. I believe that being able to practice the knowledge is as important as understand the specification, leading you to path of outstanding results!
The advantage of tutoring as an A level student is that I completely understand what techniques and skills a GCSE should gradually obtain through their course.
I would confidently describe myself as an ambitious student and a passionate worker. I have an approachable persona which correlates strongly with my kind and friendly demeaner. Taking initiative when my team requires help is an attribute that I possess that has helped ease several difficult situations. I believe that being able to multitask in challenging environments contributes to success and I’ve been able to do so by managing my surroundings, even in overwhelming situations. As well as being a quick learner who is keen to gain new skills, I am a compassionate individual that finds joy in helping others and contributing to change. I am organised and able to respond to timeframes and deadlines with pace.
My blossoming intrigue in Human Biology is one of the main reasons as to why I want to study medicine. I am constantly developing my understanding of the science of life as well as human anatomy through reading biological books and attending lectures. Moreover, I enjoy analysing different sceneries to witness how organisms interact and coexist with each other.
