My teaching method is always to first ask the students what they already know about the subject, in order to find their strengths and weaknesses around the subject. I also prefer to give class demonstrations and show the students how to find the answer and give them an in-depth structure to show how to put together a top-level answer before I give a chance to complete the questions by themselves. I also believe going over answers together will allow the students to understand where they went wrong and how to improve in future. I like to be very creative with my learning, and use props, white boards and give loads of examples in order to further aid their learning
I am an A-level biology, accounting and Health and social care student. I had excellent GCSE grades and passed them all at at around grades 6, 7 and 8. I have previous experience of mentoring and tutoring my neighbours children throughout lockdown, to help them catch up on their studies. And they are exceeding well in their GCSE studies now.
