My teaching method is doing a test first, then identifying there weaknesses so that every topic is covered to a suitable standard. After that, I will go through the topics that they are less weak on. Finally, doing plenty of test paper so they are ready for the exams.
I am an A Level student in East Barnet School who studies Maths, Biology and Product Design. If I get to tutor you I will teach you certain skills and prepare for the exams as I got a Level 7 (grade A) in Maths therefore capable of handling pressure.
Also , I recently did math’s leadership in East Barnet School for a 5-week period, mentoring a yr 11 student on a one to one basis, during the school hours, designated specially for helping under performing students to boost there grades. The feedback from the student was 'it has boosted my confidence in maths and how to find different ways to ask a question in Maths'.
Work Experience and volunteer work (ascending date):
Between 2015/16 I worked on a 20 weeks Saturday project in The University of Westminster that contributed to the Crest Award in making ‘The Nutri Games’ app that measured the exercise a person would do over how much food they ate (mainly breakfast, groups choice).
The project required skills like problem solving (e.g. finding out the right code for the game), team work and communication between your team so that the game is efficient enough and decide who is the correct person to cover a role (e.g. finding the exercise and how much calories that burns).
At the end of this course I received a certificate from Sir John Sorrell for National Saturday Science and Engineering Club.
As part of leadership skills (at East Barnet School) I have worked for many hours (approx. 20 hours) between December 2015 to April 2017 where I planned and prepared session that were suitable for the participant at the time (flexible) in cricket, football and tennis (worked with LTA mini Tennis Couch Education), so that I become more confident in my social and leadership skills, and to inspire people to become better or to encourage them further in the sports.
In this course I received Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership.
I learnt basic skills in Norwood charity shop (Southgate) for one week in July 2016, as a shop assistant where I fulfilled task that involved greeting customers, so they feel welcomed and comfortable, replenishing stock, working on the checkout, pricing and tagging clothes, and I even sold a shoe for around £100.
After working at Norwood, I had experience working in Barclays bank, Southgate branch, observing the bank cashier behind the till, and found out information on their competitors, and much more activities (from LifeSkills) involving banking.
Recently, I did math’s leadership in East Barnet School for a 5-week period, mentoring a yr 11 student on a one to one basis, during the school hours, designated specially for helping under performing students.
Hobbies and extracurricular activities:
Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing sports such as football and table tennis and playing video game with my brothers.
