My teaching is specifically shaped for GCSE students, but I can also help youngsters more lower down in the education system. In the perspective of teaching a GCSE student, my teaching is tailored in a way that I thoroughly explain and help them understand the specific topic they need help on. I then print out and give many questions and past practice papers focused on that certain topic to see whether they could apply what they learnt into real life exam-styled questions. It also then helps to see what they are fine with and where they still need the extra boost. Besides this, I like to also help my students make revision resources for themselves which can be used later on in the future when required such as quizes/questions on flashcards or even just simplified notes in their pad. I believe that constant question practicing anf getting feedback on them is the way that my students can truly exceed in the subject(s) they need help on.
I am an A level student who studies Psychology, History and English Lit. A couple months ago, I tutored a few close friends' younger siblings and a cousin who required an extra boost in their core subjects. With my abilities to acknowledge where they needed my help and the many resources I held, I was able to give them a significant boost in their understanding and learning in the subjects they were potentially falling behind on. It only seems right that I could advertise myself to help out more individuals who need a helping hand. I have also been tutored by different tutors for various subjects during my GCSE season, hence I know what is best for GCSE students and what is most benefitial for them.
My hourly rate may change depending on the distance of the student, when I have to travel to the student's home.
