The most important and influential duty of a tutor is to work one-on-one with students to teach and guide them through homework assignments and test preparation based on their individual needs.
Working to keep records of students' progress, administer practice tests and assessments, and assign practice work for students to complete outside of the tutoring session in order to better their understanding.
Have mostly been a family and friends tutor only since completing my GCSE's whilst in the process of furthering my education. Primarily to my now 14 year old sibling, who has significantly improved her overall grade averaging now on a Grade 8 (A - B) in most of her subjects, who is also now more keen and interested in learning. Fun and playful activities also ensuring that the most education experience is provided.
