About Robert
My name is Robert and I'm an A-Level student studying Maths, Spanish and Politics. Maths and Spanish are two of my favourite subjects and I would like to help younger students to enjoy and be inspired by these subjects so they have a greater chance of succeeding in their exams. I achieved Grade 9 at GCSE for both of these subjects. I have experience with teaching as I have volunteered as a swim coach for 4 years and hold a Level 1 Swimming Coaching Qualification. I already volunteer with a class of Year 7 Spanish. I have competed as a county swimmer, a national runner and have achieved Grade 8 in Piano.

I try to teach actively by gauging a student's ability and testing their knowledge. I would then try to fine-tune their skills whilst developing new ones. I would give them the opportunity to suggest what we should be learning as I believe that education should be student centred. A lesson would typically be half an hour long although the student may choose. I have achieved grades 8/9 in all my 11 GCSEs and have helped in classrooms before. I also have experience with teaching as I am a qualified swimming coach. I would like to tutor for people in Key Stage 3 or below (age 13 and below)
