My teaching method is inspired by the way I learn. It begins with ensuring a solid foundation of topic understanding. This means detailed notes and constant reference to the specification. The next step is to condense the notes to ensure an active process (to help memorise). This maybe onto flashcards which can be re-used. The final step is completing topic-specific examination questions as this is the best way to learn.
I am a Year 13 Student studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I undertook an AS in Further Mathematics and obtained an A. I am predicted an A* in Mathematics and Chemistry. I also have grade 9s in GCSE Mathemathics & Chemistry and an A^ (A* with distinction) in AQA Level 2 Further Mathematics. I have previously tutored in 11+ for over 12 months.
I currently have multiple leadership roles within my school such as being the Head Boy. Whilst in Year 12, I was a student mentor who supported students in the lower year groups with their GCSEs (helping them with revision techniques and A-Level subject selection).
