About Jennefer
Helping students learn and get unstuck in solving mathematics problems is my greatest passion. I was born and raised in the Philippines and experienced great success at University and the workplace due to my exceptional educational preparations. I am a college faculty at the University of San Carlos (USC), Cebu City, Philippines. My passion for tutoring students started when I was still in second-year college, and I have been doing this for 20 years now. Since then, I have helped more than 15 students passed their math subjects, the majority of whom were my tutors for at least four years.
I am also a freelance content writer and reviewer in an E-learning company in the United States, where I help students by authoring step-by-step solutions to mathematics problems in adherence to the company's content writing guidelines.
My other special skills: exploring mathematical properties and relationships through hands-on, interactive, and dynamic worksheets, creating of graphs using Geogebra, writing a step-by-step solution to any mathematics problem, KaTeX or LaTeX typesetting, and teaching mathematics in an easy and understandable way.
I am a certified teacher.

As a High School and College teacher for 18 years, I usually approach my lessons using the principle of constructivism. I usually allow and guide students to discover the concepts on their own then provide relevant practice exercises to enhance their understanding of the derived concepts and skills.
