The law is hard, really hard. The workload is vast, both in quality and quantity and I genuinely understand the difficulties and challenges you are facing from having studied it at University for four years.
What I aim to achieve through my tutoring is two things:
(1) success in examinations and assessments; and
(2) a genuine interest in the academic study of the law.
Yes, grades are probably the most important thing and I will not deny that. But I do not think you can reasonably expect to go far with very little interest in what it is you are studying. It requires a lot of resilience and motivation to remember all those cases, rules and nitty-gritty details. You need to have an interest and curiosity in the subject and this something that I feel as though I can help with.
My style of teaching is flexible, whether have questions that need answering, a crash course, help with applying the law or with problem and essay questions - I can help.
I am a Legal Engineer at Gowling WLG. I have recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 Honours LLB in Law and South East Asian Law. As part of my degree, I applied and was selected to go onto the Law School's Study Abroad Programme. I completed a year abroad at the National University of Singapore, Asia's top university.
Academically, I have studied a diverse range of both English and other international law modules, and have achieved strong grades at both A-Level and University. At A-Level I studied Law (A), Psychology (A) and Government and Politics (B).
