An engaging, two-way lesson is crucial. I have found that, by far, immersive lessons that require the student to think and respond, result in the greatest retention of information. Simply reciting the book would not be how we would work through the syllabus. I would first try to gauge the type of learning most suited to the student- e.g. are they more visual or auditory? All lessons would approach the curriculum in an exciting way tailored to their learning.
I graduated from the London School of Economics with a 2:1 in Law in 2016. I now run my own business in sustainable textiles. During university I was a private tutor to young refugees preparing for their GCSEs in a secondary school in London.
