I'm a 22 year old student who has grown up in London and have achieved First Class honours in History at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
My method of teaching would be to help the student develop an effective essay writing technique that can work for any topic. I'd also be happy to help with any homework or project in the subject that the student maybe struggling with and would do my own research into the topic to be able to provide effective help.
I would describe myself as quite laid back and would hopefully therefore be able to relate to the student on topics outside of just history.
I have taught history before as a part of a mentoring process at Southfields Academy in March 2017. By focusing on essay writing technique, I helped a student to increase his mark from 50/100 to 85/100 on a particular project.
I am currently a student at the University of Law and have just completed the GDL.
- GDL at the University of Law: Distinction mark.
- 2015-2018: London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)
BA in International History, 2.1 in first year exams
2.1 in LSE 100, including a First Degree mark in two 10-minute presentations.
- 2010-15 Latymer Upper School, Hammersmith
GCSE: 10 A*’s in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths, English Literature, English Language, Latin, French, Religious Studies and History.

2016-17 (December-Present) Volunteer Student Mentor, Southfields Academy, Wimbledon, London
As well as mentoring students through non-academic issues, I also provided history tuition. Over several weeks I improved students' essay writing technique, in one case helping to increase a student's mark from 50/100 to 85/100 on a particular project.
