I really enjoy teaching and always keep my lessons varied and interesing. From my own experiences as a musician I've found that understanding music theory and being a confident sight reader have been greatly beneficial to my enjoyment of music and so I encourage my students to learn these skills whilst learning to play the piano. I am very passionate about music and hope to pass this on to my pupils.

Experience

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have over 3 years of experience teaching pupils of all ages and abilities, both in piano and composition. Many of my students have taken ABRSM exams and achieved well deserved high scores. I have also had some experience of working with students with learning difficulties.

Whilst studying at the RCM I parcticipated in many education outreach programmes with the English Chamber Orchestra and Teenage Cancer Trust.

In 2010 I co-founded Cactus Music School, which runs, amongst other things, children's workshops during school holidays as well as regular adult evening classes.
