Additionally I have attended INSET days provided by LEAs for which I work which have provided training in Behaviour Management and Safeguarding.

- How much do you charge?

One-to-one lessons of all ages and abilities I charge £35 per hour. £25 per half hour.

- Where do you teach?

I teach at my home in Brockley, South-East London (SE4) where I can offer a cup of tea and we can listen to music on my sound system and play along to backing tracks so as to practice improvising over chord progressions or play along to accompaniments when studying for Grade exams which I am able to prepare students for.

- When are you available?

Weekday afternoons / evenings.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

All ages and abilities are welcome!

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I can prepare students for graded examinations, however there will be no pressure applied to do exams if they aren't wanted.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

Learning saxophone and/or clarinet can be a great experience. The way in which I teach stems from my love for music - I am passionate, enthusiastic and personal in my approach. Everyone's taste, style and sound is unique and I aim to uncover and nurture each student's individuality.
Whether you have a specific goal, or just want to get started in playing saxophone or clarinet, please drop me a line to discuss further. I also offer a free no obligation short consultation to discuss anything in person.
