Magali - Kingston - ESOL (English)

During my final year of A- Levels, Magali helped support me in developing my French speaking skills. She planned the lessons according to the exam board's requirements and my individual needs. She really improved my confidence and this helped me pass at a very good grade.

Mrs Churchill has been teaching my 8 years-old boy French for few years. She makes it fun, exciting and with lots of games that keeps him engaged. She has creative ways of linking her lessons with everyday-life situations so it is easier for him to practice and show off his newly learnt vocabulary. He has been picking up conversational phrases and with very good accent. He has also been really involved and looks forward to his lesson every week!

Lessons with Magali prior to sitting my GCSEs allowed myself to gain security in my linguistic skill, as well as the results I could get.
Not only has my grammar, vocabulary and accent improved, but my understanding of the Francophone communities around the world. You couldn't find a better tutor for a well rounded education in the French language.

When I first met Magali, I hadn't studied French for over 30 yrs but she assured me “You remember more than you realise.” As well as being an excellent teacher with a real talent for helping you understand, Magali is happy for you to work at your own pace and is endlessly patient (she had to be with a student as poor as me). Magali supported both my sons in preparation for their respective GCSE and AS exams. She always conducted herself with the utmost professionalism and was a pleasure to work with. Both boys found her easy to talk to and felt very comfortable experimenting with their French in her presence. She always managed their sessions with a relaxed but focussed approach and they both found these increased their confidence tremendously which no doubt assisted in their success.
