I provide a range of Chinese-culture-specific after school courses, private tuition to students aged from 5 year to 16 years in London. I believe that student have many ways of communicating, thinking; and we want to work together with partner/teacher to discover bigger outside worlds, and to maximize their learning potential through the joint learning experience with me.
We aim to create a professional and vibrant, and most importantly, stimulating environment where student can learn Mandarin and Chinese culture in a fun way. My curriculum is based on the belief that language, culture, and logical reasoning ability are closely intertwined with each other.
I am a native speaker of Chinese. I am a post graduate of the UCL Institute of Education last year, majoring in education. I am teaching classes at a Chinese school every Saturday and also give private lessons for student in need during the weekdays. Currently, I am qualified for primary Mandarin, GCSE Mandarin and IGCSE Mandarin teaching. The age of my students are vary from 3 to 16 years old. My personality is cheerful and lively, and I love to get along with children and teenagers. As a skillful practitioner, I always use the learner-centered approach to guide the students and unique teaching methods to improve students’ language learning ability. At present, all of my students have reached high grades in the YCT (youth Chinese test) level 1, 2, and 3 tests and GCSE Mandarin tests.

Indonesia Volunteer Project is a non-profit-making project aiming to improve the current poor education quality and teaching resources through recruiting volunteers globally and initiating donation publically. As a participated volunteer, I was engaged in the high kindergarten education branch. Before the class session, I made effort to design teaching plans with large quantity of body language, painting, and music due to the imprecise accent of Indonesian children. Meanwhile, I prepared the teaching material and teaching hand-tools with local symbols. During the teaching session, I taught 20 children aged five to seven the primary English such as fruit and color according to my self-designed teaching plan. Meanwhile, local funny games and leisure plays were prepared within the classes to enhance both the interest and the effectiveness of study. Also I shared teaching experience with other readily participates for the betterment of the following teaching plan.
