About Luna
I have around 6 years of experience in the marketing corporate world. I also started my own college based in-house agency that allowed students to work with small businesses and generate money. My education is B.Sc. in Information Systems (UIC) and MicroMasters in Marketing Analytics (Berkeley)
I believe that marketing is not just for aspiring marketers but also for aspiring entrepreneurs that realize the value of marketing/selling yourself, your product/service, or whatever your business idea is, and that's the exact knowledge that I used to convince small businesses to trust college students, actually pay them for their work and continue to work with them long term.
I am excited to share my marketing approach with you to help you succeed in any career you choose!

My approach is focused on real-life marketing (publicly available) examples rather than boring book examples and definitions that anyone can read off of a book. I also like to give my students challenges that excites them rather than home-works that they will dread. Of-course we will be going over general concepts briefly and I will provide you those materials to refer back to once we work on projects.
My plan is to first understand what are your main goals from these classes (Getting your first Marketing job, Advancing your Marketing career, Switching careers to Marketing), and what areas you are interested in focusing on (we can also figure out what's best for you together) then using my experience to adjust my curriculum to make it more customized for you. My goal is not to just teach you the WHAT about marketing but also the HOW.
The best part about my curriculum is that it's based on real marketing experience and lessons derived from my career in marketing rather than typical school marketing books.
