I have recently completed a four year MChem degree, as such, I am currently available to tutor undergraduate and below Chemistry (e.g. Bsc, A-level, GCSE, etc.). I believe the most effective method of tutoring involves identifying and improving the weaknesses of a student, followed by reinforcing developed concepts through questions and past papers. I am very friendly and patient, I believe working at the students pace fundamental to successful learning.
While I have not tutored in an official capacity previously, I have been involved in different forms of teaching throughout my life. I was a football coach for an U14/15 team for 2 years, and have also taught short-courses to Yr 7-11 in areas such as Science, Ice-Skating and First Aid. In all these cases, the focus was always on the development of the student's ability.
The quoted price is for A-Level and below ONLY. Undergraduate tutoring will be charged at £30 /h.
As previously mentioned, I have recently completed my MChem (Master of Chemistry) degree, and expect to graduate with a 2.1 or 1st class honours. Prior to this, my A-levels included Chemistry, Biology, Psychology and Maths & Statistics.
