Deleuze defined philosophy as “the art of forming, inventing and fabricating concepts”; knowing full well in his advocation of a 'pedagogy of concept' the bidirectional relationship of information pertaining to perception. We are in other words subject to our beliefs, which very much shape the world that we see (and do not see) and the manner in which we behave. What I offer in testing one's concepts is the fostering of a liberating and therapeutic critical eye through which one may cut through the confusion caused by peddled delusion. One need only be reminded, by reference to the Dark Ages, that the accumulation of knowledge is not a linear progression.
I have a particular expertise in Ancient Greek philosophy, - especially Plato, - and Indian philosophy; covering thereby metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. I am well-positioned therefore to develop a solid empirical base from which to pursue understanding. I am also fully capable of tutoring English Literature.
I am reasonably new to tutoring, my experience confined to tutoring fellow university students. Drastic improvements were made nevertheless in: their ability to understand the material; their confidence so as to pursue their own ideas; and in the clarity of their presentation.
