I speak Spanish at an advanced level, and have ample experience in translating in and out of English, most prominently during my degree, but also throughout my entire Spanish-learning life. I can therefore analyse a text well and figure out the most appropriate translational approach: literal, dynamic equivalence, etc. I can use a computer efficiently, and am currently working with digital translation tools such as SDL Trados and WordFast Pro. I am very time-efficient and am consistent in meeting deadlines, and can produce work of a high quality under restrictive time constraints.

I enjoy travelling and this has developed my language and communication skills, especially in countries such as Spain, France and Bulgaria.
With regard to languages, I have a major interest in Spanish, hence my choice of degree, but I also take pleasure in learning a variety of languages, and have studied Portuguese and French as part of my degree also.
