I aim to provide students interested in the field with quality and patient guidance. My teaching method primarily consists of approaching each concept from first principles and reducing more complex problems to smaller, more manageable sub-tasks. This is done with a view to establishing fundamentals in a way that goes beyond rote memorisation and thereby remains clear in the student's mind for longer.
After a 3-year stint with the Quantitative Analytics division of Barclays UK, I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Data Analytics from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Glasgow. I'm looking forward to interacting with students of all backgrounds and introducing, or further familiarising them with the wonderful world of numbers.
My prior tutoring experience consists of working as a volunteer to teach Maths across the primary to senior secondary school level in New Delhi, India. Therein, I've covered everything from Unitary Methods and basic Trigonometry to A-level Integral and Differential Calculus. I'm particularly well-versed in the field of Statistics, and am looking to pursue a PhD once I complete my postgraduate studies.
