About the lesson
I try to personalise my teaching to each student so they can get the most from every lesson. I often let the student take the lead and suggest topics so they gain confidence and feel more prepared for their exams.
I am a Biomedical Engineering Masters graduate from the University of Glasgow (First Class Honours). I have six years of experience as a school support tutor and personal home tutor, teaching maths, physics, chemistry and biology to students aged 11 to 20. I am also employed by the University of Glasgow as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

I got 5/5 UCAS university offers: University of Glasgow (Direct Second Year entry), University of Oxford, Imperial College London, King's College London, and University of Leeds.
He used to teach me Mathematics and I achieved 95% whereas two months before my best result was 45%. Alvaro is really kind and patient. I’m sure he could help anyone.
Alvaro is a great tutor, he helped me a lot for my IGCSE exams. I really liked how he taught me and I seriously recommend it to everyone because I’m sure he’s going to help you to achieve a great grade in your exams, it was great for me!
