Methodology
Lessons will normally involve discussion of and reading of a text/texts, and some writing practice with feedback. We can also practice grammar, vocabulary and essay writing. I aim to make my classes engaging and dynamic whilst retaining a sense of rigour.
Experience
I aim to make my lessons as challenging and possible by giving students authentic texts and input. I aim to show students what excellence looks like by using my expertise and modelling outstanding answers and showing students how to construct these. I give continuous feedback to ensure that students understand how to develop their work and improve.
