Masters Student in Behavioural Science (LSE) offering tutoring across numerous academic disciplines
Methodology
I have taught students across a variety of ages (3-16) and have developed of a number of differing practices to get the best out of my students. With younger children I aim to inspire a love for the subject, while developing the key literacy and numeracy knowledge. As the children get older the focus is on providing them with key skills to gain independence in their work. As well as ensuring they have an in-depth knowledge of the course content and a strong grasp of exam technique.
Experience
I have tutored throughout the duration of my university career, spanning over 3 years gaining hundreds of hours of tutoring experience.
I had my first experience of teaching in Kenya, where I spent two months volunteering at a school. It was here I developed my passion for educating children, where seeing their development in numeracy, literacy and all round happiness was hugely rewarding. I also loved the creative challenge of coming up with alternative ways to teach children a topic which they may be struggling to grasp.
