About the lesson

I am a firm believer that learning is a very unique experience for every person: some students react best to visual stimuli, some are more receptive to learning rooted in relatable examples and others thrive through iterative testing throughout a lesson. I aim to tailor every session to achieving the targetted goals and desired grades but, also it is vital that the lesson is tailored to the most productive method of learning for the student. This approach develops a student beyond the confines of conventional learning and is designed to make acquiring new information an enjoyable and inspiring experience. "Education is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire."

About Liam

I am a confident and extroverted student with a BA in Politics and an MSc in Infrastructure and Sustainable Development. Both courses have entailed extensive assessment in a multitude of disciplines: politics, international relations, history, geography, sociology and philosophy to name a few. I have also achieved A-Levels in English Literature and Language, Geography and Sociology.

Having volunteered for numerous academic tutoring schemes during my academic career, I am keen to share the knowledge, skills and educational tools I have learned throughout my education with the next generation of young academics and students. I have worked with a range of ages and abilities in both formal and informal settings. My volunteer work as a tutor is complimented by work experience completed at Holy Trinity Primary School and completion of the CSLA (Community Sports Leaders Award) during my time at secondary school.
