Since 2009 I have had the pleasure to work with a variety of students from different back grounds and with varying educational needs. Each student has surpassed their own expectations of what they could achieve, with some students going from receiving Cs and Ds to As and Bs. Being dyslexic myself, I really enjoy being able to help other dyslexics, or students with other learning differences, find their own way to learn and gain confidence.
I have worked with students age 7 upwards focusing on English, Essay Writing Skills, Art and Design. I am also able to support students with learning difficulties (dyslexia, ADHD etc) and/or mental health difficulties.
I have helped students complete their course work and essays, as well as get them prepped for exams. When it comes to the next stage of their education I have also taken students through interview techniques and writing applications for University.
Each students learns in their own way. I use the first session as an initial assessment to see what the best teaching method is for that individual, discuss what that individual wants to achieve, where the student feels they are struggling and design a bespoke lesson plans for that student.
I was born in Asia and lived their till I was 13. I started boarding school in the UK when I was 10 due to needing additional support for my dyslexia. I went on to study at Central St Martins and in 2015 graduated from The Royal College of Art in Glass and Ceramics, with a distinction for my thesis.
FREE INITIAL ASSESSMENT - 30/40 MINUTES
The first free lesson I use as the Initial Assessment and this last for 30 - 40 minutes.
