Methodology
Any teaching I have carried out privately in the past has been most successful through the use of metaphors and analogies to help explain real world issues. I first find out what the issue is then I imagine a hypothetical or metaphorical example to make it more easily understandable. This has been my most successful method of teaching so far.
Experience
I am currently studying for a Master's in Translation and would like to devote some time to using my skills to teach French. My undergraduate degree is in French and Spanish and having visited France a number of times, I feel I have the necessary knowledge of the culture and the language to be able to impart necessary skills to a student of the same language.
