I mainly like to give lesson to GCSE and A-level students. Students, primarily, that really have a love for mathematics but just need that extra bit of help to reach the top.
I would use the syllabus from the exam board of the exams that you will be sitting.
I will include real-life examples to help you understand what I am teaching you.
I have no problem with revisiting the same topic until you are an expert in that area.
I am currently a Project Engineer for a Global Battery Company. I have a Mathematics Degree from Swansea University, I achieved the top levels (at the time) of an A* at GCSE (2003) and an A at A-Level (with 100% in one of my Pure math exams).
I have tutored briefly whilst in university and I'm very patient; I have a 3 y.o daughter that I'm trying to get interested in numbers:)
I still use a lot of the mathematics/physics I learned at school in my current job.

Superprof can also suggest algebra lessons to help you.
Learning isn't a problem, physics lessons for all!
Taking trigonometry lessons has never been easier: you're going to learn new skills.
