About Rishabh
My professional path in Mathematics began with a desire to understand how people learn abstract ideas. This led me to complete a Ph.D. in Mathematical Education, focusing on conceptual development and learning strategies. Over 12 years of teaching, I have guided students from elementary school math through SAT math and Calculus preparation, helping them build confidence and independence. I approach teaching with empathy and clarity. I analyze how students reason and tailor explanations to match their thinking. Whether teaching algebraic reasoning or geometry proofs, I emphasize understanding over memorization and encourage thoughtful questioning. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with educational research and problem-solving. Teaching Mathematics is deeply fulfilling because I witness students replace self-doubt with confidence, developing logical skills that support lifelong learning and academic success.

Mathematics becomes empowering when students understand relationships rather than memorizing procedures. My lessons emphasize deep conceptual understanding across elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, and advanced topics through patient, structured explanation. I guide learners to see how ideas connect, allowing them to approach problems thoughtfully rather than reactively. Lessons are paced to encourage reasoning, discussion, and reflection so students can internalize methods with confidence.
Instruction adapts to each level. Younger learners strengthen number sense and reasoning through elementary school math foundations. Middle-level students focus on proportional reasoning, algebraic structure, and geometry visualization common in middle school math. Advanced learners work through algebra, SAT math strategies, and Calculus concepts with emphasis on reasoning and accuracy. Guided examples, independent practice, and reflective correction form the backbone of each session.
Mathematics lessons build discipline, patience, and structured thinking. As students gain clarity, their confidence grows and anxiety decreases. Many learners discover they can succeed through understanding rather than speed.
