I am comfortable tutoring maths for up to age 18 and have personally done it at a reputable secondary school for GCSE, AS and A-level and am currently halfway through studying Maths at King's College London. I tend to use the national curriculum as a basis for my lessons but make sure to teach students beyond their year group accordingly. I ask students to purchase any textbooks or exercise books that I recommend to help aid the contents of the lessons, putting emphasis on any areas that they may personally struggle with.
I have tutored a total of 5 different children for 3 years now between the ages of 9-16 and am very comfortable in tutoring 11+ especially. Each student I have taught have all improved to beyond the stage that they initially wanted to get to and have subsequently gotten higher grades, whether that's for just internal end of year exams or GCSE, and others have managed to pass entrance exams to get into schools of their first choice.
