Every student is different. To have one learning technique for all students to fit into is a flawed concept. I like to spend the first session getting to know my students with how they work academically. Setting a few questions and watching their methodology, at which point they ask for assistance, learning what kind of learner they are. Once I know these things, I can work with the student using their strengths, and slowly help them gain confidence and overcome their weaknesses
I am a Mathematics Graduate who had previously worked within the shipping industry. Currently working within hospitality industry while applying for data and information analyst positions in Essex.
I tutored Maths whilst at University for GCSE and A Level students, and also for University students who studied Maths modules as part of their degrees (mainly sciences and engineering).
In my spare time, I play hockey, tennis and rounders, and also coach cricket in the summer.
