Each session I deliver will be tailored to the individual's students needs, and at times, requests. This will be done by planning each session dedicated to specific topics highlighted to be of weakness to the student, and assisted by worksheets and relevant exam work. By keeping the sessions fun and relaxed as possible, these sessions will hopefully provide an hour of mathematics different from that at school and stop those common complaints that "Maths is boring"!!
Understanding of what has been taught and discussed each session will be monitored through homework, which I would ask to be completed by our next session, as a way to really show an independent knowledge of the topic!
Hi and welcome!
I'm Solomon and I've just completed studying a BSc in Mathematics at the University of Leeds. I have always had a passion for maths and sciences. Achieving top grades in both GCSE's and A-Levels I have always wanted to help others understand and achieve where they are struggling. I have tutored for 4 years now, both private (one on one) and to classes in local secondary schools and tutoring centres helping with exam revision as well as general subject understanding.
My main aim is to keep the sessions fun and enjoyable and keep the tutee engaged! I look forward to potentially working with you and helping you achieve your best!

Solomon is an old school friend of mine who I have stayed in good contact with and watched him develop throughout his time in education and to this day. A motivated, organised hard-worker, he is the perfect choice for any scenario as he is willing to test his own abilities with any new task. Inspiring to the people around him, he is a genuinely good person with a brilliant mentality for the Superprof community.
I was on the same BSC mathematics course with Solomon and lived with him for one of them. He's a hardworker who helped me multiple times with revision and taught me some topics I struggled with in class. All my time knowing him he's been involved in tutoring, whether private orworking at NumberWorks 'N Words and that experience is telling with his patience and ability to teach.
I've worked with Solomon at our student radio station for the past year and he was clearly an outstanding member of the team. He could always be relied upon to put out 3 shows a week alongside his degree and was always a person to turn to for advice on any issues in the station. He has good people skills working well with all of our committee and his Sports Team at the station. On air he showed that he could convey ideas and information clearly and succinctly whilst remaining engaging.
