I believe a successful educator needs to be flexible in terms of their teaching styles, it needs to adapt to the pupils characters, strengths and weakness. The pace of teaching also needs to be adjusted according to the pupils abilities.
I am an outgoing and caring person. I produce handouts and problem sets tailored to students abilities and progress.
Hello everyone! I obtained my BSc(hons), MSc in mathematics at the University of Liverpool. I then went onto pursue a PhD in mathematics at the Open University, successfully completing in 2018. Since then I remained working in the higher education sector as a postdoc (something between a PhD and obtaining a tenure position at a university.)
I have extensive experience of tutoring at all levels. Since my undergraduate years, I have started private tutoring, I have tutored extensively pupils from KS1 to A-levels. Particular highlight included an A-level student needed to obtain a C grade in GCSE maths as part of university entry requirement. Given a month and a half preparation, we were able to achieve that target. Aside from A-levels, I have also assisted extensively in tutorials at University levels, I have also supervised bachelor and master students for their theses.
