I usually stress on the theory and make sure that the student has properly understood the concepts and after that I make sure that the student has understood all the concepts providing them with problems and examples to solve. I particularly enjoyed creative and enthusiastic teachers that stimulated my imagination and my creativity and that’s the way I always like to approach maths, both when I teach and when I learn.
I am a second year mathematics direct entry student in the University of St Andrews and I have been constantly helping classmates and friends of my class or other classes that needed my help with their maths. I scored a 7/7 in both IB mathematics higher level and further mathematics higher level and I have been reaching the top 1% of participants in Greek Mathematics Competitions, qualifying for the national olympiad during my three years in high school. In graduation, I also won the mathematics prize for my performance and my passion concerning maths. Thus I am very willing and able to help anyone that needs help with their maths and make them see how beautiful and creative maths can be!
