My teaching method all depends upon the student.
1. Younger students - here I will use a variety of materials to make numbers fun, creating enthusiastic students who will go on to continue learning and improving long after our lessons.
2. Older students prior to work experience - here I like to contextualise the number skills and ensure students can envisage a use for the skills. I find this particularly useful for students who "don't like maths" but are likely to need these skills in their chosen future professions.
3. Those returning to education or embarking upon a change in career. Tips and tricks to make the complex become simple.
I have qualifications from GCSE to degree level, as well as relevant work experience utilising a variety of simple and complex maths in the workplace. I have been keen on mathematics since childhood, and have also competed in maths competitions.
