I am a fully qualifed teacher, currently teaching in a Birmingham grammar school, with six years of tuition experience. I graduated with a Mathematics degree from Oxford University and have a full, clear CRB check. I have taught, and can tutor, the International Baccalaureate as well as Maths up to and including A Level Further Maths. I have a real passion for Maths and helping pupils appreciate and understand the subject.

I teach Mathematics, through Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have 2.1 in Mathematics from Keble College, Oxford University. I have also completed a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at Birmingham City University.
- How much do you charge?
£20 an hour for individual tuition. I can do group sessions and am happy to discuss costs for that.
- Where do you teach?
I travel to students' homes to provide tuition. I live in Edgbaston, Birmingham, and am happy to travel around South and Central Birmingham.
- When are you available?
Most evenings during the week, and most weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach 11 to 18, Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I am a relaxed and friendly individual, who tries to make Maths enjoyable. It can be a difficult subject for people and I understand the problems that students have with it, so I tailor my sessions to meet individual needs. Hopefully, I provide a new appreciation for Maths and how it all links together, as well as some interesting and challenging sessions.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a teacher for four years now, teaching the 11 to 18 age group. This has included IGCSE, GCSE, A Level and IB Mathematics. In terms of tutoring experience, I have worked with students with a variety of abilities for six years.
