I am a current student who excels at maths already and I want to share my knowledge with other mathematicians. I can tutor and help children with any area of lower school maths so that they're ready for their exams.
I am new to tutoring but very much ready to teach as I've helped classmates all the way through secondary school. I'm young and thus can understand how a child thinks. Anything I'll be teaching I myself studied quite recently.
Tesco Festive Colleague
Tesco - Andover - November 2016 to December 2016
I was employed as a festive colleague for 4 weeks at Tesco where i worked on grocery. This meant i restocked
shelves and interacted with any inquisitive customers. Meaning I had to speak and help customers a lot of
the time whilst working.
McDonald's - Amesbury - June 2016 to September 2016
For over 2 months, I was employed my McDonald's where i got my first taste of actual work. During my time,
i had to serve customers and thus interact with many different types of people, clean the kitchen and help out
with small tasks and mainly prepare food for order. This entailed either actually making the food or wrapping
it. This taught me how to work quickly but calmly under very high pressure. I would say that my spell there
was very successful but due to a lack of hours given to me (and the hours i was given conflicting with other
ventures- most significantly school) I decided to leave my tenure.
2 Week work experience
Barclays - Andover - June 2015 to June 2015
I enjoyed a two week work experience at a local Barclays branch where i was set out to perform a number
of tasks. Even though the period of work was very short, it taught me a lot in terms of general understanding
of banking but also customer service. This is mainly due to spending most of my time on the 'shop floor'
and interacting with customers. This built my confidence massively. I also performed other tasks like mystery
shopping at near-by shops.
