I am a laidback (but can be strict!) individual that likes to see students strive. I am a strong believer in Maths and the associations with it; it is an open subject that can be applied to just about everything!
I can teach up to GCSE level and will ensure students are familiar with techniques needed for exams and their lessons at school. Practise questions are key and I am happy to help with them be it for homework or extra work. Often, teaching needs to be shown in practical situations to see how the student can apply it to day-to-day situations and I am a strong believer of this.
I have helped students throughout my time in Sixth Form and at University to help them learn, often on a private basis whilst working for my A-levels and my degree. Students that I have taught have usually been on a C level grade and have managed to get them to a B level in a Higher paper for Mathematics, non calculator and calculator.
I am about to start my 3rd year of university, and thus have been doing private tutoring for nearly 5 years now.
Currently studying for a degree in Computer Science at Royal Holloway, University of London - entering my placement year now. Have achieved Firsts in both my first year and second year so far.
I was Deputy Head Boy at Sixth Form - this made me an outgoing person with an ability to talk to many people of different calibers.
