I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Hertfordshire and am really keen to teach Mathematics at all levels, ranging from primary to A Levels. I have a really good background in academics especially in secondary and higher level mathematics because I have been teaching since grade 11. I was the Teaching Assistant (TA) for my Mathematics teacher during the final year of my A' Levels and would assist my fellow batchmates as well as students of O' Levels in my school in every topic related to Mathematics.
I focus on conveying concepts to my students and have devised a method of teaching such that I take into account real-life examples and try to relate them to the given topic as much as possible so that the student can have an exposure to what is actually going on in the question given rather than just blindly following the set rules and getting the answer. I believe that you learn the essence of Mathematics once you start to analyze your answer.
I have been a Teaching Assistant (TA) during my A' Levels and have assisted my teacher during the lectures as well as taking extra classes for those students who were falling behind and am confident to say that my performance was satisfactory. Furthermore, I have tutored students online via Skype as well as GCSE students in my previous school who showed exceptional results in their final Cambridge International Examinations.
