I'm friendly, and enjoy teaching subjects for which I have a passion. I'm particularly looking to teach Biology and Chemistry at a secondary level (GCSE, IB/A-Levels), and can also teach concepts in French, Geography, Mathematics, and Economics, all subjects which I studied.
We'll organise and structure topics to revise together prior to classes. I'll organise both audiovisual/textual aids as well as find past paper questions to work through with you. Together, we'll conquer that curriculum!
I haven't previously formally tutored, but have teaching experience with family members, friends, and junior medical students.
I would be happy to teach students in my home, or meet in a suitable location elsewhere. I'm normally based in Salford Royal during my placements.
If travel is involved, I ask for an additional £5 to cover the cost of a bus dayrider.
I'm currently going into my final-year of medical school, which I began in 2012.
I've received numerous prizes over the course. I still have a passion and interest in non-medical subjects, however.
I got 9 A*s in my GCSEs for the sciences (double-award), mathematics, English literature and language, media studies, geography, economics, and French. I sat these in 2010.
I subsequently achieved 45 out of 45 points on the IB (A-Level equivalent) for Higher-Level Biology, Chemistry and English Literature, and Standard-Level Economics, Geography, and French in 2012.
