I am a Medical Science student at the University of Leeds. I obtained a 2.1 level Bachelors degree and am currently completing my Masters degree, graduating in July.
I am friendly, patient and clear in my explanations, able to use visual tools and inventive methods to help other students learn in a fun and interactive manner.
Whilst I have never officially given tutoring lessons before, I have tutored family friends with science topics they have been struggling with (GCSE level) and lead revision groups with my friends at A level to help explain the content of the course to them.
Currently, I am completing a degree in Medical Science with an integrated Masters award at the University of Leeds. The focus of my present work is the novel use of cryoelectron microscopy in the design of pharmaceutics, particularly trying to target the disease Toxoplasmosis. This is a challenge, which I am finding both exciting and innovative, conducting research for the first time with real life potential. I am a hard-working, motivated individual, who has proved capable of thriving both independently and in a team and I am excited to discover what new challenges and experiences I will face following graduation.

• Ambassador for St John Rigby College:
During the 2 years I spent at St John Rigby College, I was specifically chosen to act as a spokesperson for the college. I visited high schools and conducted presentations to students in order to inform them about what our college had to offer. I also acted as a representative for the chemistry department on open days, performing experiments and showing potential students how fascinating science can be. I was chosen as an ambassador as I am a responsible and trustworthy individual who puts a lot of effort into everything they do.
Jade has always been one of the smartest people I know. She always puts in 100% to her work and studies, spending extra time to make sure she achieves her full potential. I have seen this through high school, college, and university.
Jade has helped me along the way, offering tutoring and revision help. Jade is particularly good at motivating and supporting people, being empathetic and encouraging. I remember her teaching and securing my knowledge in mathematics and science, often testing me and asking example questions.
Jade would be a fantastic tutor to people of all ages, and I cannot stress this enough.
