My method of teaching depends heavily on the learning style of the student. We will spend parts of each session discovering which methods of learning they prefer and which they are best suited to, leaving me to find a nice balance between the two that is optimal for the student's learning. I also incorporate the use of real-life applications of the subject so the student can have a better view of the full picture that the teachings form.
I truly love science and I am very passionate about learning and the importance of understanding in getting your head around a topic, instead of heavily cramming, feeling burnt-out and still not reaching your full potential, despite your hard work. As a result, you must be prepared to stretch yourself past what you think are your limits, because I believe that effective learning requires challenge to make a breakthrough, which should be evident in both in your grades and in your mentality towards your studies.
I am currently a 2nd year medical student who has been involved in tutoring and mentoring both my peers and younger students for the last 4 years. I achieved A*s in GCSE Mathematics and Physics and As at A-Level, As in GCSE Chemistry and Biology as well as an additional A^ in GCSE Further Mathematics.
My main tutoring successes include helping a C/D-grade student attain her B-grade in GCSE Biology, which she previously thought was impossible, and encouraging a high-B student to reach for and achieve an A* in GCSE Physics, which she did.
I also have experience as a welfare mentor for younger students and have an enhanced DBS Check because of my course of study.
To cancel, please give me at least 24 hours notice, especially if the lesson is scheduled at the student's house, or refunding cannot be guaranteed.
I have no other tariffs or rates based on the student's level or distance.

Perfect! Moj's teaching methods are excellently suited to my daughter who is studying all 3 sciences for GCSE's. Moj takes everyday situations and relates them to the subject being studied, she makes everything bite sized and easy to understand. She's really warm and makes science fun! Patient, polite and punctual. Importantly she cares about her students progress and grades! Her lessons are so well thought out and explained there is rarely any need for my daughter to extra work!
Thank you much for this review! I really do enjoy teaching your daughter and I'm glad she enjoys the lessons too!
