Medical Student offering Biology and German lessons up to University level (11 A*s GCSE | AAB A-Level)
Methodology
I am currently offering lessons for Biology and German up to university level so if you are a GCSE or A-Level candidates, my lessons will be perfect for you!
I tend to allow my pupils to dictate what topic we do on a particular day. From there I will be able to explain that topic using exam terminology and will open up the session to any questions pupils may have. After this, we will finish with some exam question practice (and homework if pupils wish).
I would describe my teaching methodology as traditional, however with smaller class sizes I am able to offer students a lot more of my attention than they perhaps get at school. In this way I can help to build the pupils' confidence and proficiency in that particular area of their study.
Experience
Hi! I am currently a first year medical student at Keele University and am offering bespoke Biology and German tuition to both individuals and groups. Having struggled sometimes in school I know the potential pitfalls and complications that a lot of students have and I will work with you in order to help rectify these problems and help you achieve the top grades. I have also gone through the education system recently so I know exactly what the exam boards want from candidates.

During my time at school I was a Biology mentor for 2 years, during which time I arranged regular meetings with younger pupils to help them with any problems they were having in Biology. The experience gave me valuable teaching experience.
I was also a Prefect and Peer Supporter and therefore have plenty of experience in dealing with young people. This should translate to a learning environment that my pupils feel challenged but also safe to make mistakes and extract the valuable lessons from them.
