I am an enthusiastic student who has just finished her final year of medical school. During medical school I took up many opportunities to engage in peer teaching, which have taught me how to illustrate concepts in a manner that is easily understood and developed.
My teaching style focuses on the use of assessments to highlight areas of improvement, using questions to illustrate the application of scientific principles to exam questions, and real life. My focus in teaching is to ensure that fundamental scientific concepts are understood, such that any novel question or problem can be successfully conquered. I have a very friendly approach to teaching and aim to create a supportive environment and rapport which facilitates and encourages constructive learning. I encourage people to ask questions; and answer them to the best of my ability.
I am a driven, enthusiastic student with a strong passion for science and teaching, and will endeavour to create the optimum educational experience for your child if selected to tutor them.
I have extensive teaching experience as a peer teacher and pathology tutor to non-clinical medical students during medical school. Through this I have gained refined skills allowing me to break down concepts in the sciences into small chunks which are easy to understand. This has given students a lot of help in their undergraduate end of semester exams.
