Kendra-Jean's CV

I am currently a medical student at Cardiff University. I am a very hardworking and organised person, with time- management being an important part of my life as a student; this includes keeping to deadlines and working at a good pace. I have a positive attitude, and enjoy dedicating my time to others, which is why I volunteered for four months at St John Baptist Primary School, which was very rewarding as I’ve aided the children in their learning.

My career ambition is to become a Doctor, and eventually a neurologist. Helping at a primary school enabled me to see, first- hand, teaching methods used by teachers, such as knowing how to support students, whilst simultaneously encouraging them to think independently so they can build their academic confidence: I hope to translate this into tutoring this student. I also have a younger sibling, who I have consistently supported academically since primary school age and therefore have a very good idea of the standard of learning expected at this age.
