My teaching method is based on what I know works with Both the SQA and UKCAT system and is proven to work. I have had tutors myself fro the SQA system so am familiar in what teaching methods work. I aim to challenge and aid the student through a mixture of given essays, past paper and question revision in link with going through powerpoints for each sub-unit and notes. I come with textbooks and would mark work to ensure the student is progressing. the best way to teach is to pass on a passion and go through what the student find challenging.
I'am a medical student at the university of St Andrews who went to The Mary Erskine School. I have national 5's to advanced higher top A grade qualifications and the notes to go with the SQA course to enable easier revision for students. I also have a top UKCAT mark. I am from Edinburgh and would love to convey my knowledge and passion of school subjects to my students and help there entry into university. I would also love to help people with UKCAT revision and tips.

Good! I'm still waiting for the 1st lesson with Philippa
Philippa has been one of the most open-minded and optimistic people I have ever come across. As a top-graded medical student herself, she has always been extremely helpful in both inspiring and encouraging the others (and me) to work a little bit harder and smarter.
One of Philippa's most outstanding character is her ability to communicate. When I asked her some questions either academically or in life, she always showed her extreme patience and understanding while listening and is able to explain stuff in a way that's easily understandable, even though I don't speak English as my first language. Therefore, I'm 100% sure Philippa is going to make a great tutor who knows her content well and also knows how to teach it even better :)
